The end of the year is approaching and one of the most favorite children’s holidays comes with it – Saint Nicholas Day. Traditionally, on this day, children find gifts under their pillows. There is a magical atmosphere around with the smell of Christmas trees and the air is festive!<\/p>\n
Despite the fact that this year brought a terrible war to Ukraine, our children do not stop believing in miracles and for their sake – for our future and our continuation, we, adults, fight every day! If we were wizards, we would return peace to our homes, all fathers from the war alive and safe, happy childhood to those who lost it, homes, kindergartens, birthday parties with friends and everyone who left Ukraine. But we are not wizards. Unfortunately. We cannot perform a miracle. But we helped St. Nicholas to receive 15 letters from children who currently live in the “Mother and Baby” shelter in Uzhgorod. These children, together with their mothers, cannot return home. Because most of them don’t have it.<\/p>\n
