Last week, we purchased and delivered an Epson printer worth 9,584 UAH for the children in Anna Holeva’s family-type children’s home. The printer is essential for the children’s education.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The family currently cares for 9 children and resides in the town of Dublyany, Lviv region (internally displaced from the Kherson region).<\/p>\n

History of the family-type children’s home<\/strong> (from the perspective of the foster mother, Anna Holeva)<\/p>\n

Our journey as a family-type children’s home began in 2015. My husband, daughter (who was 12 at the time), and I lived in the village of Prymorske, Kherson region, on the seashore. After the first russian invasion in 2014, my husband and I were deeply moved by the heartbreaking statistics about children left orphaned. Given that we had the resources and the desire to help, we decided to open our hearts and home to children in need.<\/p>\n

We initially took in a group of three children, then, four months later, welcomed another three. Later, we adopted an 8-year-old girl from a nearby village.<\/p>\n

When the full-scale invasion began, our family home in Prymorske was occupied. We spent two years in Germany, but in May 2024, we returned to Ukraine, settling in Dublyany, Lviv region, to provide a safer and more stable environment for our children.<\/p>\n

Each child has their hobbies. Most of them are passionate about music, and many enjoy tennis, volleyball, and outdoor activities.<\/p>\n

In January 2025, we welcomed three more children into our family, while two others have now left our family-type children’s home.<\/p>\n
