A person with this impairment might see only half of a room, eat only from one side of their plate, or even fail to recognize their own arm or leg.<\/p>\n<p>This is not a vision problem, but a brain perception issue. The program was highly practical, covering everything from conducting specialized diagnostic tests to building rehabilitation strategies that help the patient&#8217;s brain &#8220;re-see&#8221; the ignored side.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"font-size: 36px;\">Why It Is Crucial for the Facility<\/h2>\n<p>The Uzhhorod Center of Neurosurgery deals with complex cases daily, and the number of patients with neglect is significant. This is why the team was so deeply engaged in the process; specialists actively discussed clinical cases even during breaks.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Our specialists were eager for this knowledge because the demand for treating such impairments is very high.
